Race Info

The Extraterrestrial Full Moon Marathon runs along Nevada State Route 375, officially designated the Extraterrestrial Highway, on the fringe of the Area 51 military installation near Rachel, Nevada. The marathon and 51K start at midnight on the weekend closest to the August full moon, with half marathon, 10K, and 5K options starting shortly after. Calico Racing directed the race annually since 2007; Aravaipa Running becomes the operator starting with the August 14, 2027 edition.
