Race Info
The Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon runs on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, and carries World Athletics Gold Label status. Started in 2007, the race has produced multiple world records, including Peres Jepchirchir's 65:06 in 2017 and Ababel Yeshaneh's 1:04:31 in 2020. The current course records are 57:56 for men (Jacob Kiplimo, 2022) and 1:04:14 for women (Girmawit Gebrzihair, 2022). The flat, coastal route loops the island past its resort hotels and starts and finishes near the Rixos Bab Al Bahr resort, with 10km, 5km, and 2km events held the same morning.
