The 10km Road Race at the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon starts and finishes near the entrance to Al Marjan Island, beside the tourism authority offices. Runners follow the island's main coastal road past the resort hotels, round the crescent and across to the circular island at the far end, then return the same way. The course is flat, and the race starts at 8:30 AM after the half marathon is under way.
