A cool 45°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 60°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The Half Marathon at Trail Weekend is one lap of a 13.1-mile single-track loop through Pinckney State Recreation Area, starting and finishing at the Silver Lake day-use area. The Potawatomi and Crooked Lake Trails are wide enough in places to pass, with constant hills and views of several lakes. The same loop is run twice by the marathon and 50K fields, and it is not flat or fast.
