Cool start, warming trend ahead
Runners will face temperatures starting at 52°F and rising to 66°F, with an average humidity of 70% and a dew point of 51°F. A light headwind at 10 mph may affect pacing, especially in the later stages. It's advisable for runners to start conservatively and stay hydrated as the temperature climbs.
Following the Beautiful Scenic shores of Little Bay de Noc, the Boston Qualifying USATF Certified race route starts at the waterfront Terrace Bay Hotel. Heading North along the non-motorized pathway, the route winds along the Lake Michigan shoreline to VanCleve Park, where 10K runners will turn around to return back to the Terrace Bay Hotel along the waterfront trail and Half Marathon runners will continue on. Passing through VanCleve Park, runners will experience scenic views of Lake Michigan. Source
