Oak Ridge to Kingston Express O2K Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential
A cool 41°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 49°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 72% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Half Marathon is a point-to-point run that starts on North Jefferson Circle in Oak Ridge and follows the Oak Ridge Turnpike for the rest of the distance, using the bike lane and shoulder. The course climbs less than 400 feet in total, so it is a fast, gently rolling highway route. It runs on the same road as the first half of the marathon, which turns around and retraces it. Runners arrange their own ride back to the start.
