Race Info

The Nova Scotia Marathon is held each July in Barrington, on the southwest shore of Nova Scotia, with a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 6K. The marathon follows a secondary highway for the first miles, then loops around Cape Sable Island in a figure-eight on mostly flat roads with some rolling hills. The marathon course was measured in 2019 and is a Boston qualifier. The race is part of the Run Nova Scotia Road Race Series and sold out in 2024 and 2025. Source
