Race Info
The Northeast Kingdom Marathon is a free, USATF-certified marathon and half marathon in Island Pond, Vermont's Northeast Kingdom region. The race charges no entry fee and provides no traditional race support; runners are asked instead to spend money and volunteer time in the town. Both distances start and finish on Main Street and share a 6-hour course cutoff. The event follows the same donation-based, town-support model as Maine's Millinocket Marathon.
