Runners will face a temperature rise from 56°F at the start to a peak of 71°F by the finish, with an average humidity of 54%. Although wind speeds will reach up to 11 mph, runners will experience a mix of tailwinds and headwinds throughout the course, particularly challenging between miles 7-12 and 23-26. It's advisable to start conservatively and hydrate frequently, especially as temperatures climb.

A flat, fast course that winds through Burlington and along Lake Champlain, the MTBVCM is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success since 1989. The race hits the best of Burlington including the Church Street Marketplace and Burlington Bike Path. The course is a double loop which starts and finishes in Waterfront Park. Source
