Race Info
The MV Spring Classic Marathon and Half Marathon is a spring road race on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, starting at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School and finishing at Waban Park in Oak Bluffs. The full marathon route loops through Katama and the half marathon circles Edgartown, both crossing Beach Road along the way. MV Classic Series, a nonprofit formed by island running enthusiasts, launched the race in 2025 after community members asked for a replacement following the end of the original Martha's Vineyard Marathon, which USA Endurance Events had run from 2017 through 2023. Both distances are USATF certified and the marathon serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier, with entries capped at 500 runners total.
