The Modesto Marathon is a spring road race in Modesto, California, with a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K. The marathon starts downtown, runs through the tree-lined college neighborhoods past Modesto Junior College's west campus, then heads into orchard country with views of the Diablo Range before returning to a finish near the start. The course is flat, USATF certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier. Course records are 2:16:45 for men (CJ Albertson, 2019) and 2:39:04 for women (Anna Bretan, 2015).
