Race Info
The Half Marathon runs 21.097 km from central Terni up the Nera valley and back, sharing the first half of the marathon course. Runners pass the Basilica di San Valentino, climb gently for about 200 meters, then descend into the Valnerina past the old arms factory and continue along the river to the Cascata delle Marmore, the tallest waterfall in Europe. The route stays mostly flat to the turnaround at Torre Orsina, then returns to the finish in Terni on the same asphalt roads.
