Race Info
A half marathon and shorter distances centered on Martiniplein in Sneek, in the Dutch province of Friesland, relaunched in 2026 under new organizer GrootMedia after merging with the long-running '4 & 10 Mijl van Sneek.' The event has weathered back-to-back disruptions: a 2025 cancellation for extreme heat, and a permit revoked days before its planned June 2026 date over a fraudulent medical plan, pushing the race to September. A full marathon run is planned to return in 2027.
