Race Info
The Lausanne Marathon runs along Lake Geneva in Lausanne, Switzerland, each October. It starts at Place de Milan and follows the lakeshore east through Pully, Paudex and Lutry into the Lavaux vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage site, turning back near Cully to finish at Place Bellerive. The race was first held in 1993 to coincide with the opening of the Olympic Museum and has grown from roughly 1,000 finishers to more than 14,000 participants across its marathon, half marathon and 10K races.
