Land Between the Lakes 60K
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential
A cool 47°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 57°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The Land Between the Lakes 60K starts on the Kentucky Lake shoreline at Lighthouse Landing in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, and follows about two miles of road to the trailhead on Kentucky Lake Scenic Drive. Runners then complete three laps of the 11.3-mile Canal Loop, mostly single-track packed dirt with rolling hills on the Lake Barkley side and larger hills on the Kentucky Lake side, before returning by road to finish in Grand Rivers. The race is held on the second Saturday of March in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, when the bare trees leave open views of both lakes.
