Race Day Weather
Cool, light rain, steady pace
Runners will face cool temperatures starting at 44°F and reaching a maximum of 50°F. With light rain expected throughout and humidity at 83%, pacing should be conservative to avoid fatigue. The wind will be light at 5 mph from the NW, allowing for comfortable running conditions.
The course starts (and finishes) at the Bowling Green Ball Park and runs a 13.1 mile loop through historic downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky and the beautiful campus of Western Kentucky University. All proceeds from the bg26.2 & half marathon go to the National MS Society in memory of Susan B. Riherd. All finishers will receive a finisher's medal along with post-race refreshments.
