About the Lago Maggiore Half Marathon
The Half Marathon covers 21.097 km from Arona to the Pier Square in Stresa, following the Lake Maggiore shoreline road through Meina, Lesa and Belgirate. It starts alongside the marathon and finishes about halfway along the full course, after crossing the Borromean Gulf. The route is flat, fully asphalted and certified by World Athletics, AIMS and FIDAL as a point-to-point course.
