La Jolla 10K
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps
Mild 58°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 68°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 67% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The La Jolla 10K debuted in 2026 as a new addition to race weekend, starting near the top of the Torrey Pines mesa and skipping the half marathon's climb through Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. Runners cover the half marathon's final 6.2 miles through the residential streets of La Jolla Shores to a net-downhill finish at Ellen Browning Scripps Park. The course bypasses roughly 400 of the half marathon's 910 feet of total elevation gain.
