Race Info
The La Jolla Half Marathon is a point-to-point road race along the San Diego coast, starting at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and finishing at Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla. The course climbs to the summit of Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, crosses the Torrey Pines mesa, then descends through La Jolla Shores to the coast. A companion 10K and 5K join the course partway. Organized by the Kiwanis Club of La Jolla, it has run for close to five decades as a fundraiser for the club's children's charities.
