Jurassic Jaunt 10K
Race Day Weather
Warm start, warming through the race
Starting at 67°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 80°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 67% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The 10K is two laps of a 5K out-and-back on the paved beach path at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California. The course runs along the shoreline and is open to other path users, so runners stay on the right. It starts on the Saturday of race weekend, half an hour after the half marathon and 10 miler, and finishes at the same beachfront venue.
