Jurassic Jaunt 10 Miler
Race Day Weather
Warm start
Starting at 67°F, heat will be a factor from the gun — go out conservative and stay on top of hydration. Temperatures rising to 76°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 73% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The 10 Miler is two laps of a 5 mile out-and-back on the beach path at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California. The path is paved and open to the public, so runners keep to the right side with cyclists on the left. It starts on the Saturday of race weekend and finishes at the same beachfront venue where the other distances end.
