The Johnny Miles Running Event is an annual road race weekend in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, held since 1975 in honor of Johnny Miles, a two-time Boston Marathon winner (1926, 1929) from New Glasgow. The weekend starts and finishes at Glasgow Square on Riverside Parkway and includes a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and youth 5K, all on an Athletics Canada certified course. A full marathon distance was offered for decades but has been absent from the standard lineup since around 2020, aside from a one-time revival for the event's 50th anniversary in 2025.
