Race Info
The Jekyll Island Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles on the Georgia barrier island on the Sunday of race weekend. From the start on Stable Road, the flat route heads north on Riverview Drive and loops through the island's north end past the campground, Driftwood Beach and Clam Creek, with a turnaround on Beachview Drive along the oceanfront. The return runs on the Riverview Drive bike path beside the salt marshes to a finish next to the Jekyll Island Club Resort. The course is USATF-certified and passes under live oak canopies and through the Jekyll Island Club National Historic Landmark.
