Race Info
The Honor Run Half Marathon starts and finishes near the Florence Y'All water tower at Florence Mall in Florence, Kentucky. The course heads north on Houston Road past the city golf course, loops through the Turfway Park and Aero Parkway business district, then returns south to the mall. The race began in 2015, a year after its organizer, the nonprofit Honor Run Foundation, was established, and proceeds go to Honor Flight Tri-State to send local World War II, Korea, and Vietnam veterans to see their memorials in Washington, D.C. It's held on the Sunday closest to Veterans Day each November, alongside 10K and 5K events.
