Race Info
The High Uinta Half Marathon is a point-to-point downhill race that starts high in the Uinta Mountains near Wolf Creek Pass and finishes lower in the Kamas/Woodland valley. The course drops roughly 2,600 feet over 13.1 miles through aspen and pine forest along the upper Provo River drainage. A companion 10K and 5K run a separate, flatter route nearer the finish. On Hill Events has organized the race since at least 2020; through 2023 it was called the Soapstone Mountain Half Marathon before being rebranded in 2024.
