The Heroes of America Marathon and Half Marathon race runs through parts of Ft. Moore (formerly known as Ft Benning) and on the beautiful Columbus River Walk. The course is reasonably flat with one hill and a few short inclines. Because of the width of the River walk the Heroes of America Marathon does not allow participants who use hand-cranks. Source
