Half Naked Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, warming through the race
A cool 40°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 51°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The Half Naked Half Marathon runs a certified 13.1-mile out-and-back course starting and finishing at McClellan Park Medical Mall in Anniston, Alabama. The Anniston Runners Club has organized the race each January since at least 2016, pairing it with a companion Quarter Marathon on the same morning. Despite the name, runners are not expected to run half-naked; organizers describe the 'stripped down' format as tied to the race's humble early years. The course closes at 11 a.m.
