Greensboro 5K
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, warming through the race
A cool 46°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 58°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The 5K starts and finishes at 600 Battleground Ave in downtown Greensboro. It shares its early downtown streets with the half marathon, then breaks off at Yanceyville St and turns onto Bessemer Ave to loop back toward the finish on Battleground Ave. The course is USATF-certified, spectator friendly and open to walkers, and it is laid out to be as fast as Greensboro's hills allow. It is a late-season 5K, run just ahead of Thanksgiving.
