About the Greensboro 1 Mile Fun Run
The 1 Mile Fun Run is a downtown Greensboro out and back that starts on Battleground Ave, near the start and finish area of the half marathon and 5K. It heads out along Fisher Ave and Elm St to a U-turn, then returns by way of Fisher Ave to finish on Battleground Ave. The course is open to runners of all ages and is run just ahead of the main races, so spectators gathered for the half marathon and 5K cheer it on.
