Düsseldorf Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, warming through the race
A cool 44°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 58°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

The Düsseldorf Half Marathon starts on Joseph-Beuys-Ufer beside the Rhine and runs through the city centre past the Hofgarten, one of Germany's oldest public parks, and along Königsallee. The route continues through the Zoopark and south to the MedienHafen, then returns for a second pass along Königsallee. It finishes at the Untere Rheinwerft below the Altstadt, on the same Sunday as the marathon. The course is flat and fast, run entirely on city streets.
