Race Info
The Avila-Seaside 5K is a 3.1-mile course that starts and finishes at Avila Beach Resort on California's Central Coast. It winds through the streets of Avila Beach and briefly joins the shaded Bob Jones Trail, with views of the beach, harbor and Pacific Ocean along about 60 percent of the route. The terrain is mostly flat apart from one short hill near the middle, and sea lions, otters and whales are sometimes seen from the course.
