Race Info
The City of Champions Half Marathon starts and finishes at Back Forty Beer Company in downtown Gadsden, Alabama, alongside 10K and 5K events on the same morning. Gadsden has called itself the City of Champions since the 1950s, after a local high school band and a Little League team both won national titles around the same time. The Gadsden Runners Club has organized the race every November since its inaugural running in 2018, benefiting the United Way of Etowah County.
