Race Info
The Carry the Fallen Half Marathon takes place on the Active Heroes retreat property in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, the Saturday before Veterans Day. Active Heroes is a nonprofit that runs a military family retreat center on the site and has organized ruck-march events under the Carry the Fallen name since 2013. The course covers wooded trails and gravel roads on the organization's own land. Registration includes a tech shirt and a commemorative dog tag, and proceeds support the organization's veteran and military family programs.
