Runners will face a temperature rise from 68°F at the start to 80°F by the finish. With average humidity at 70% and dew point at 65°F, adjustments to pacing are essential, especially in the warmer later miles. Light ENE winds initially bring tailwinds but shift to headwinds from miles 6 to 19, making those segments particularly challenging. Hydration will be key, especially as the temperature climbs.

Race Info
The CAF Marathon is an annual marathon in Caracas, Venezuela, organized directly by CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, as its own event since a first edition in 2011. The course starts and finishes at Parque Los Caobos in central Caracas, with the marathon and half marathon corrals entered through the park's southeast gate near Plaza Venezuela, and the marathon route passes Los Proceres and Plaza Altamira before returning. The race was not held from 2018 to 2022 amid Venezuela's economic and political crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, resuming in March 2023 and reaching its 10th edition in February 2026. The 11th edition is scheduled for February 21, 2027, with a marathon and a half marathon and about 8,000 places.
