Race Info
The Express Half Marathon covers the second half of the Bizz Johnson Trail Marathon route. It starts at Goumaz Campground, takes a short up-and-back, and then drops down the Bizz Johnson Trail along the Susan River to the finish at Hobo Camp in Susanville. The point-to-point course follows a former railroad grade, so the descent is steady and runnable, and it includes the wooden railroad bridges and the two old railroad tunnels in the Susan River Canyon.
