Race Info
The Big Beach Half Marathon starts at The Hangout on the beach in Gulf Shores and finishes on the beachside boardwalk at West Gulf Place. The route heads north on Gulf Shores Parkway into Gulf State Park, runs along paved trails and wooden boardwalks past Shelby Lakes, and splits from the marathon course at Rosemary Dunes Trail. The course is flat and mostly off the road, and it comes back to the Gulf through a bike lane on Beach Boulevard.
