The Barcelona Marathon (Catalan: Marató Barcelona) is run each March through the streets of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, over the standard 42.195-kilometer distance. World Athletics rates it a Gold Label road race. A 2024 course redesign cut the route to about 134 meters of total elevation gain, making it one of the flattest big-city marathon courses in Europe.
