Race Info
The Elche-Alicante Marathon is a point-to-point 42.195-kilometer race that starts at the Palacio de Altamira in Elche and finishes at Pier 12 in the Port of Alicante. The course runs through Elche's historic center and El Palmeral before following a mostly flat, net-downhill route along the Mediterranean coast into Alicante, finishing near the Explanada de España and Postiguet beach. The race is certified by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The inaugural 2025 edition drew about 4,000 runners from more than 50 countries.
