Avenue of the Giants Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race

Race Info
The Avenue of the Giants Half Marathon runs 13.1 miles as a single out-and-back along the Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, entirely on paved road beneath old-growth redwood canopy. The route is the marathon's second-half course, adopted after an earlier version that used the marathon's first leg. It stays mostly shaded and largely flat, with one notable rise through the town of Weott near the turnaround. Start and finish are at the Bull Creek Flats Road underpass near Weott, on a USATF-certified, Boston Marathon-qualifying course.
