The Birkie Trail Run Half Marathon covers a single 13.1-mile loop on the American Birkebeiner ski trail system near Cable, Wisconsin, starting and finishing at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead. The route mixes ski trails, gravel two-track, and singletrack, including a climb toward the summit of Mt. Telemark and views of Mt. Telemark Village. It runs the same loop used by the marathon's two laps.
