Race Info
ZombieRunner Quarry Lakes is an annual road race held each December (moving to a November date starting in 2026) at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area in Fremont, California. The route follows the Alameda Creek Trail toward the mouth of Niles Canyon on a flat, mostly paved and crushed-rock course. The event is organized by Coastal Trail Runs, which also runs the ZombieRunner Halloween Marathon in San Jose. The half marathon course is USATF certified (CA19047RS); the race previously offered a marathon distance but that option has been discontinued as of the 2025 and 2026 editions.
