Zionsville Half Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cold start — layer up, chance of rain
Runners will start in chilly 38°F conditions — dress in layers for the corral and plan to shed early. Temperatures rising to 47°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. Moderate humidity at 71% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Zionsville Half Marathon runs through downtown Zionsville's historic brick Main Street district before heading into the surrounding Boone County countryside. The course returns to town on the Big-4 Rail Trail and finishes at Lions Park, where the race also starts. Run2Race, a locally based race management company founded by Mike Cole, has organized the event since its start in the mid-2010s; the race has been held every November since at least 2022. A companion 5K runs the same morning, and a post-race beer garden from Field Brewing Company follows both races.
