Yonkers Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps
Mild 59°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 68°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 72% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.

Race Info
The Yonkers Marathon is a marathon race held annually in Yonkers, New York. Founded in 1907, it is the second oldest marathon in the United States, after the Boston Marathon. The race now runs in mid-September, starting and finishing near the Yonkers train station on Buena Vista Avenue along the Hudson River waterfront. In addition to the marathon, race weekend includes a half marathon and a 5K. From 1938 to 1965, and again in 1974, the race served as the USA Marathon Championships.
