Race Info
The RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon is organized by New York Road Runners and has run since 1981, making it one of NYRR's longest-standing events. Originally known as the Popular Brooklyn Half Marathon under a prior title sponsor, it took its current name when RBC became title sponsor in 2022. The 13.1-mile course starts near the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Garden, loops through Prospect Park, and finishes on the Coney Island boardwalk. Since 2023 it has been the largest half marathon in the United States by finisher count, topping 30,000 for the first time in 2026.
