Race Info
The Wicked Fast Marathon and Half Marathon - Montana starts on Mill Creek Road in Paradise Valley and finishes at the Pine Creek Fishing Access on the Yellowstone River near Livingston. The course drops about 1,200 feet over its length, staying under the 1,500-foot threshold that would otherwise trigger a Boston Marathon qualifying time penalty, and runs roughly 75 percent pavement with the rest hard-packed dirt road. It is USATF-certified and is part of the multi-city Wicked Fast series that also includes editions in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains and near San Diego, California. The race ran for several years as Jack and Jill's Downhill Marathon before adopting the Wicked Fast name for its 2026 edition.
