Comfortable temps, big temp swing
Mild 60°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temps will climb significantly to 75°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. Moderate humidity at 72% is worth noting for effort level, especially in later miles.
The Wausau Marathon is an annual non-profit event offering runners the option of a full marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, or a 5k. The course treks through some of Wausau's greatest scenery and has plenty of beautiful viewing spots. The race begins and ends at the 400 Block in downtown Wausau.
