Viña del Mar Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, big temp swing
A cool 46°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temps will climb significantly to 64°F by later miles, so expect fading conditions as the race progresses. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

The marathon course covers two loops of the half marathon route along Avenidas Borgoño, Jorge Montt, San Martín and España toward Universidad Federico Santa María before returning to the coast. Both the marathon and half marathon distances are certified by World Athletics, with results counting toward the World Ranking, and the race is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
