Race Info
The Half Marathon starts at the Dog Pen on Holly Grove Church Road, just outside Ellerbe in Richmond County, North Carolina. It follows the first half of the marathon course out along quiet rural roads with rolling terrain, turns around at roughly mile 6.55, and returns the same way to finish back at the Dog Pen. The route is an out-and-back with long stretches of country road and very little traffic.
