Race Info
The University of Charleston Half Marathon starts on Capitol Street in downtown Charleston, West Virginia, and heads west through the West Side before crossing the Patrick Street Bridge over the Kanawha River. The route then follows MacCorkle Avenue on the south side of the river and returns toward the Capitol Complex, passing near the golden dome of the State Capitol. It finishes on Capitol Street with the post-race party at Slack Plaza. The course is relatively flat.
