The Tecumseh Trail Marathon offers a challenging and scenic journey through the hills and hollows of Yellowwood State Forest in southern Indiana. Runners traverse a diverse terrain that includes narrow forest trails, wide fire roads, gravel, dirt, and paved paths, with a total elevation gain of approximately 3,500 feet. The course showcases the natural beauty of the area, especially during the autumn months when the foliage is vibrant. Participants are supported by aid stations every 2-3 miles, providing water, energy drinks, and snacks to fuel their adventure.
