The Tecumseh Trail Marathon offers a challenging and scenic journey through the hills and hollows of Yellowwood State Forest in southern Indiana. Runners traverse a diverse terrain that includes narrow forest trails, wide fire roads, gravel, dirt, and paved paths, with a total elevation gain of approximately 3,500 feet. The course showcases the natural beauty of the area, especially during the autumn months when the foliage is vibrant.
